Chakras 101: Movement and Meditatipn

Have you ever wondered what people talk anout when they refer to chakras? Often when hearing about chakras, we may have heard things related to opening our third eyes or the heart with the chakras. Whether we have gained a solid understanding or are completely knew to the topic, this ancient knowledge can better not only our yoga practice but also internal awareness.

The word chakra in English means "a wheel", referring to spinning whirpools of energy which run along the spine. While we can't visibily see chakras, like meiridians in reflexology, they are governed by subtle forces. As integral to our bodily and emotional halth, knowledge of the chakras in this workshop will help to support a more balanced being
